I feel that the church has more woman in it than men at least from what I have seen! In this I feel you get the Love of God in a stronger dose! If the men would step up as God postioned us there would be more of the fear of God which would make the church more balanced! I feel God made man first for this reason and gave us Eve for a helper in being less strict and bring balance! I do how ever belive that the church has become passive in the love of God and we have weakend the front line! To bring back more of the fear of God I feel would get the church back in it's rightful place!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3811101406548572887.post-54525171401261181042012-06-23T03:26:16.843-07:002012-06-23T03:26:16.843-07:00Anonymous, why hide your identity? The answer is that man is a fallen creature and in his pride he tries to abuse God. Since man's fall, God's law (of which church rules attempt to define, although incomplete) calls out those places where man abuses nature. Child abuse is the current de jour. But there are many others. In the end, all of those violations of love have their solution in loving God enough to obey him (i.e. follow the rules). For society to teach child abusers to love children, you must, by definition, describe how to do that. That description is the "rule set." So, I argue you can't have love without rules. The two are the same thing. "I love your law, O Lord." Love and Law are separated by one word, "YOU" and they have God as the direct object.Stan Williamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12084603289444240062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3811101406548572887.post-80430412636421890242012-06-22T22:54:18.784-07:002012-06-22T22:54:18.784-07:00Why doesn't the Church simply teach people to ...Why doesn't the Church simply teach people to LOVE God - rather than focusing on the rules?"<br>A. Why don't society just teach child abusers to just love children more and do away with the rules (laws)?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
